Homosexuality - An Abomination NOT An Alternative
The widespread practice of homosexuality has become a plague upon society. The media is flooded with movies, television shows and musicians that openly practice homosexuality. At one time, the practice was strongly condemned by the American public. But now, the exact opposite is the case. More than being tolerated, homosexuality is often encouraged at many different levels of society. Rather than condemning the practicers of such gross sins, many people condemn the righteous person -the person who refuses to promote homosexuality.
This shift in morals is slowly eroding the most fundamental values of our society. Youths are being raised in an environment that does nothing to reinforce a sense of right and wrong. Many young ones honestly do not know what is right. People think that anything is OK as long as you're not actually hurting others. Some parents are afraid to speak up for what's right, fearful that they may be branded "intolerant."
The righteous person is only as "intolerant" as God himself. God showed his view of homosexuality repeatedly in the Holy Scriptures. Just look at the many scriptures below that support this. And yet, some people do not even know that the Bible actually condemns homosexuality in the first place.
It is our duty to speak up for what is right. We need to teach our children what God's views on morality are. Parents should not be made to feel ashamed, because they are willing to stand up on the side of truth. And we should always let people know what the scriptures really have to say on this matter.
